Allyson Born on the 18th of November, 1985 is an American track-and-field athlete. She is a representative of the United USA in numerous athletic competitions including at the Olympics, World Championships and World Indoor Championships. She has 21 gold and six silver medals and three bronze medals in her sporting career. Felix specializes in the sprint, a sport she started playing while in ninth grade. Over the last few years, the sprinter has been an outspoken advocate for a variety of issues. She is also one many of the best-known women in athletics. Allyson Nicole Felix was born in November 18th, 1985 at Los Angeles. The father of her, Paul Felix, was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as their mother, Marlean Felix, was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was born with a talent in sports. She found her running aptitude while she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout, she came in second spot in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship.
